After settling in, Kelvin spent 16 years as an administrative assistant at University Hospital, and was known for his positive, upbeat, motivational and uplifting attitude. In May 2009, he was even featured in the Post Standard as one of 5 Central New Yorkers with a winning attitude.
Kelvin is widely known for his motivational attitude and people skills. It served him well as a supervisor at University Hospital, three-time president of the Professional Photographers’ Society of Central New York, Past President of the Professional Photographers’ Society of New York State. He is the owner of Custom Photogenics Photography in Liverpool, and internet marketing entrepreneur. He‘s also a member of Toastmasters International and is spreading the positive word as a motivational writer and speaker.

No one denies that times are tough. "It is a depressing time," says Kelvin Ringold, 55, of Liverpool, "but having a winning attitude is more important when things aren't going your way. If you start focusing on the negative, that's all you're ever going to see. If you're focusing on the negative, 'Oh, my life sucks,' then that stuff just perpetuates."
